Ruby Sanctum Heroic

With summer at its peak and many of us in holiday mood, it took us a bit longer than necessary to complete the heroic challenge of Ruby Sanctum. Hallion was a surprisingly entertaining encounter, good in testing some of our trials as well. Anyway, now we are definitely slacking till Cataclysm!

To add something about our screenshots, or the sudden lack of them on the newspage, we seem to have lost them at the most recent server update, and are working on finding a way to restore them.

We are DONE!

Lich King Heroic 25 is down! We have officially completed all available raid content now, and are relaxing and enjoying summer and holidays, until Blizzard is bringing us Ruby Sanctum. Thanks to all my guildies for their nice performance on the kill, and grats to Heavyfur for his new mount: Invincible!

Heroic: Putricide

Professor Putricide is down, leaving us now with only one progressing target for Heroic Mode: Arthas. Obviously that might take some time, but at least we have a new goal now! We also got to finish our first Shadowmourne, which will be put to good use in my own hands :)

Heroic: Sindragosa

No more updating the other news entry! This one not only left a nice corpse for a decent screenshot, but also was worth the effort :) I’m talking here about Sindragosa, who was for us a good challenge, until now that is! Next Target: Heroic Putricide!

We opened quite a few recruiting spots as well, so go check forums!

Two weeks after we have unlocked heroic Icecrown Modes, we can happily report that more than half of the Hardmodes have been done! Some of the harder fights might take us longer time, but i will try not to be lasy and post again asap, when we kill something worthy of a screenshot :) I was thinking the Blood Wing Endboss was a good example! As next target we have Sindragosa!

Lich King

We killed today the Lich King 25, which means we have cleared Icecrown Citadel! From the next reset on, we will have fun on the Heroic Modes on both 10 and 25man, with obvious focus on the 25mans :) Thanks all for the nice kill!

Bloodqueen Lana'thel

New Icecrown Wing released, and cleared! Especially Bloodqueen Lana’thel seems to be a very nice tuned encounter and allows us to hope for a really interesting hardmode! Other than that not much to add, see you soon when new bosses are out!

Professor Putricide

Slacking as usual with posting news, but due to the easy content of Icecrown, there was not much worthy a mention. Anyway we killed the first wing boss, who has limited attempts: Professor Putricide! He was not that hard, but i guess many of us were afraid to try him faster due to the various rumors about him and the limited attempts, which did not prove to be a big issue in the end.

And we open a DPS DK spot for someone. who feels experienced and geared enough to apply :)

Heroic Tribute to Insanity

I hate this kind of achievements and i think, i am really not the only one! We lost it a few times due to server lag in phase 3 or random dcs, and other times because of us failing :), but in the end we got it: Heroic Tribute to Insanity! And no, we do not plan to attempt Immortality any time soon!

Anub'arak Down!

We finally managed to kill Heroic Anub’arak! After quite a few changes in tactic and raid setup, dealing with having to train a few new people in the encounter and coping with the horror of wiping not once, but TWICE on him at 1%!!! we did it! We had our revenge and got at the same time a Tribute to Skill Achievement.
Thanks to all the people, who contributed to this kill!

Regarding recruitment, we have quite a few trials atm, and closed most of the open spots, with the exception of hunters and some healers!
